UAE re-elected to ARADO Executive Council
The General Assembly of the Arab Administrative Development Organisation (ARADO) approved the re-election of the UAE to its Executive Council for 2024-2026.
This announcement came on the sidelines of the 58th ordinary meeting of ARADO’s General Assembly, which concluded its activities in Cairo, with the participation of Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and The Future, and President of the Federal Authority for government Human Resources.
The decision reflects the organisation’s commitment to promoting sustainable administrative development in the Arab world. The Executive Council plays a crucial role in shaping policies and strategies to achieve this goal.
The UAE participated in the 117th ordinary meeting of ARADO’s Executive Council held in Cairo. The meeting focused on advancing human capital development in Arab nations. Discussions included key challenges, solutions, and reviews of best practices in human resources management and empowerment shared among member states.
The UAE Government delegation was headed by Al Roumi and included Laila Obaid Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the Federal Authority for government Human Resources, and Ibrahim Fikri, Executive Director of the Support Services Sector.
In her speech, Al Roumi highlighted the keenness of the UAE Government to participate in shaping the future of Arab governmental administration, building Arab governments’ human capital, and empowering them with the future skills necessary to advance Arab governmental administration, enhance its readiness for the future, and keep pace with the rapid global developments.
