FAHR uplifts the digital capabilities of its employees on the “UAE Codes” Day
In conjunction with the “UAE Codes” Day, which falls on October 29 of each year, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) held a workshop for its employees on the basics of the programming language and how to use at work, with the aim of enhancing innovation and digital skills of employees.
The workshop, which was held at FAHR’s headquarters in Dubai, was attended by 20 employees from all sectors and departments, and was led by Mira Saeed Al Shamsi, Governance and Data Analysis Analyst at FAHR.
It covered several topics, such as the role of programming in developing artificial intelligence and automating operations, data processing and analysis, the differences between different programming languages, their most prominent uses, and how to use them in serving institutional innovation.
The workshop concluded with a practical activity, and participants were asked to draw the UAE flag using the “Python” programming language, in celebration of Flag Day, which falls on November 3. It also featured a brainstorming session to explore project ideas that employees aspire to achieve in the future using programming.
