To standardize the procurement of licenses for HR systems, the GCC General Secretariat Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Oracle
On behalf of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), the General Secretariat of the GCC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oracle Corporation to unify the procurement of licenses for HR systems among the GCC countries, obtain appropriate prices for software, and achieve maximum economic efficiency in procurement at competitive prices according to the latest specifications.
The MoU was signed in Qatar, and HE Khalid bin Ali bin Salem Al-Sunaidi, Assistant Secretary General for Economic and Development Affairs of the GCC, represented the Secretariat at the signing ceremony, while Oracle was represented by Reham bint Hamad Al Moosa, General Manager of Oracle Middle East in Saudi Arabia and Executive Vice President of Applications Sector.
The signing ceremony was attended by Their Excellencies undersecretaries of GCC ministries and civil service entities, representatives from Oracle and several officials at the GCC General Secretariat. HE the Assistant Secretary-General for Economic and Development Affairs praised the great role played by the negotiating team to unify the purchase of licenses for HR systems in the GCC countries in coordination with the specialists at the GCC General Secretariat to reach this agreement.
