It has been decided that Hijri New Year holiday for the year 1442 in the Federal Government will be on Sunday, August 23, 2020, to resume normal working hours on Monday, August 24.
This was announced in a circular issued by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources based on the Cabinet Resolution regarding official holidays, which approved the agenda for official holidays for 2020.
The Authority took this opportunity to send best wishes and congratulations to the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates.
Congratulations were also exteded to the people of the UAE and Arab and Islamic nations around the world.
