HE Dr. Ahmad Bahloul Al Falasi, Minister of State for Higher Education and Advanced Skills, Chairman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) affirmed that the UAE’s prudent leadership has instilled the culture of excellence in the hearts of citizens and the various governmental institutions that are adopting the principles of excellence, competitiveness and global leadership, bringing the country to a prestigious position on the Arab and global levels.
Commenting on the title won by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, as the Best Federal Entity In Enablers category of Mohammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award, HE said: ‘’Our leadership, represented by His Highness President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Commander Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, and Members of the Supreme Council of the Rulers of the Emirates, has been teaching us the meaning of excellence and global competitiveness.
‘’Our government has provided institutions with all that is needed for success and excellence, enabling them to achieve advanced levels of proress internationally, and enhance their efficiency to cope with global competitiveness, since the era of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’(May Allah rest his soul in peace)’’.
HE Dr. Ahmed Balhous Al Falasi said that the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has been playing a pivotal role for many years in developing human capital in the Federal Government, and setting human resources policies, legislation and systems to ensure keenness to pursue these achievements, applying the best international experiences and practices in this field. He confirmed the Authority’s commitment to implement the Federal Government’s human resources strategy and to launch more initiatives and vital projects at the level of the Federal Government, which contribute to realization of the visions and directions of the country in relation to federal human capital.

For his part, Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Director General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, said: ‘’Winning the Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Government Excellence is an honor and source of pride for the Authority and imposes new challenges and responsibilities to maintain this qualitative achievement and build on it, in order to achieve the aspirations of our leadership and the UAE Vision 2021’’.
HE expressed his thanks to all the employees of the Authority for their efforts over the past years to enhance Authority’s position regionally and globally and to reflect the its bright image. He also called on the employees to exert more effort, highly valuing the role they have been playing in general, and the efforts of all departments and staff, which exemplified the best teamwork spirit, and concerted work towards a common goal.
