The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has recently handed over a variety of used office furniture to Dar Al Bir Society as part of its community initiatives during “Year of Zayed”.
In this context, Hanan bin Naseef, Deputy Director of Government Communication, FAHR, explained that the Authority has handed over to Dar Al-Bir Society, a large amount of used office furniture, which the association will donate to poor families or sell to some low- income persons at reduced price. The initiative comes within the framework of the existing cooperation between the Authority and Dar Al Bir under the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two parties last year.
She said that the Authority has recently launched its community and humanitarian plan for Year of Zayed, which includes 30 community initiatives and events to be implemented during the year.
Hanan bin Nassif said “The Authority intends to launch several qualitative and value-added community initiatives, including: providing free training for employees in ministries and federal entities under "Ma’aref" initiative for the Federal Government’s preferred training partners. Year of Zayed will also witness offering special discounts for Federal Government employees under Imtyazat Program, activating volunteering campaign in coordination with government and private institutions, and launching Charitable Giving campaign, which comprises a series of voluntary and charitable initiatives, such as: ‘Winter Warmth’, ‘Sanadhom Amanah’ and ‘Contribute to their Education “.
