The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has recently launched a charitable campaign under the community initiative ‘Sanadhom Amanah’, to provide the cost of maintenance of a house in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, owned by a low-income elderly with seven dependents.
In this regard, Hanan Mohammed bin Naseef, Deputy Director of Government Communications Department at the Authority, explained that the campaign aimed to alleviate the suffering of the targeted family and bring joy to the hearts of its members by providing them with a decent life. She added that the cost of renovating the house was estimated at nearly 40 thousand dirhams.
She said: “The campaign comes within the framework of the Authority’s initiatives to mark “2017…Year of Giving”, as announced by His Highness President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the beginning of this year.
“The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has publicized the campaign at the federal government level to allow the opportunity for the largest number of employees of the ministries and federal entities to participate in community work and charitable giving through their various social networking accounts or via BAYANATI System.”
Hanan Mohammed bin Naseef called on community groups to contribute to the campaign and donate AED 10 by sending the word ‘Maintenance’ in an SMS to number 2289, or AED 20 by using the same word via Etisalat and du.
“The Authority seeks through its community initiatives to maximize participation within and outside the country, and to consolidate the values of volunteerism and philanthropy, promote the spirit of social responsibility, and instil the values of loyalty and career happiness by volunteering”, she concluded.
