The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) participated in the 18th Meeting bringing together the director generals of public administration institutes in GCC States, which was held on 23 October in Muscat.
The Authority’s delegation was headed by its Director General, Dr. Abdulrahman Abdul Mannan Al Awar, and included the HE Ibrahim Fikri, Executive Director of Support Services, Abdulkarim Al Asmawi, Director of Organizations and International Relations Office, Mahmoud Al Marzouqi, Director of Government Communications, and Sharifa Abdulrahman Al Bishr, Executive Director of HR Planning.
The meeting discussed issues related to GCC joint work in the field of administrative development, including the draft trainer guidelines approved for implementation across public administration institutes, the results of meetings held by remote training committee of public administration institutes, in addition to participation of public administration institutes in international research conferences and blocs, as a research group representing the GCC countries.
The meeting also examined mechanisms for implementation of sustainable development goals in relation to administrative development, consultation to prepare the strategic plan of the committee of director generals of public administration institutes, and a number of other topics within the activities of public administration institutes.
