The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), has launched today, in cooperation with Dar Al-Ber Society, the Eid Clothing campaign, which aims to bring smiles on the faces of needy children in a number of poor countries and to provide new clothes for them on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
In this regard, Mahmoud Al Marzouqi, Director of Government Communication, FAHR, explained that the campaign reflects the keenness of the Authority and Dar Al-Ber Society to alleviate the sufferings of poor and needy families and to make their children feel happy on the blessed occasion like their peers all over the world.
He said that the campaign comes within the framework of the Authority’s initiatives to mark “2017…Year of Giving”, as announced by His Highness President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the beginning of this year.
Al-Marzouqi said: “The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has publicized the campaign at the federal government level to allow the opportunity for the largest number of employees of the ministries and federal entities to participate in community work and charitable giving through their various social networking accounts or via BAYANATI System.”
He called on community groups to contribute to the Eid Al-Fitr Clothing Campaign and donate AED 20 by sending the word ‘Eid’ in an SMS to number 6025 via Etisalat and du.
He said that the Authority seeks through its community initiatives to maximize participation within and outside the country, and to consolidate the values of volunteerism and philanthropy, promote the spirit of social responsibility, and instil the values of loyalty and career happiness by volunteering.
