The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), recently launched, in cooperation with Al Jalila Foundation, a charitable campaign under “Sanadhom Amanah” community-based initiative, to cover the treatment costs of a young woman in her thirties suffering from colon cancer. The patient cannot afford the cost of expensive chemotherapy sessions, as she is a very low-wage worker.
In this regard, Hanan Mohammed Bin Nesaif, Deputy Director of Government Communications Department, explained that the Authority, in cooperation with the Al Jalila Foundation, has implemented many successful charitable and humanitarian campaigns as part of "Sanadhom Amanah" initiative, and this strategic cooperation between the two sides has resulted in covering the costs of treatment for many needy patients.
She added: “The campaign aims to cover the treatment expenses of the young woman Aisha, who was diagnosed with colon cancer, which is one of the most dangerous types of cancer known globally. The patient works in a modest job that brings her a meager income that is barely enough to cover her daily needs, let alone the expensive chemotherapy sessions.|”
Hanan Bin Nesaif indicated that the Authority announced the campaign at the Federal Government level, to give the opportunity for the largest number of employees of ministries and federal entities to participate and to contribute to the treatment of the young woman, through its various accounts on social media platforms, and the HR Management Information System "Bayanati".
She called on all members of society to support the campaign, and donate 10, 50, 100, and 500 by sending the word “Sanad” in an SMS message via Etisalat or du to numbers 4202, 4206, 4209, and 4409 respectively.
