The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) launched, in partnership with Dar al-Bir Society, a charity campaign to build a mosque in a poor country.
In this regard, Mahmoud Al Marzouqi, Director of Government Communications Department, said: "This initiative is part of a series of charitable and humanitarian initiatives implemented by the Authority to mark Year of Zayed. It also coincides with Zayed Day for Humanitarian Action, which falls on the 19th of Ramadan every year.
This campaign is the result of the strategic partnership between the Authority and Dar al-Bir Society. They have agreed to cooperate and launch more humanitarian and voluntary initiatives for the benefit of the needy, and to enhance their joint efforts in launching and implementing a series of community initiatives in support of Declaration of 2018 as Year of Zayed”.
He said that the campaign was implemented by inviting all Federal Government employees and the public to donate, through e-mail, SMS, social networking, and the media.
Al-Marzouqi explained that the Authority has promoted the campaign to give the opportunity for the largest number to participate in charity work. He called on all segments of the society to contribute to the campaign and to donate via SMS by sending a letter (M) through Etisalat or Du- numbers 2289, 6025, 2252, and 6027 for amounts 10, 20, 50 and 100 dirhams respectively.
He noted that the Authority’s community initiatives are aimed at maximizing the number of beneficiaries inside and outside the country, as well as consolidating institutional loyalty and happiness through volunteering.
