The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) revealed that the HR Management Information System in the Federal Government "Bayanati" has assessed the efficiency of more than 20 thousand candidates applying for Federal Government jobs electronically, since the launch of the project to improve employability skills in April 2018, until the end of 2019.
In this regard, Shaima Al-Awadhi, Director of Human Resources Information System Department at the Authority, explained that the project to enhance the efficiency of e-employment is one of the Authority’’s strategic projects, operated under the umbrella of the Federal Government’s "Bayanati" System. She added that the project has greatly contributed to developing the recruitment cycle and attracting talents to the Federal Government, noting that it has successfully assessed the efficiency of more than 20 thousand applicants for Federal Government jobs., since its launch in 2018 until the end of 2019.
She said: “The project to improve employability, which is conducted without any operational burdens or additional tasks for employees in the ministries and federal bodies, ensures the suitability of candidates for vacant positions in the Federal Government, and identifies a set of criteria and requirements that must be met by applicants for different types of jobs, including: academic qualification, previous experience, responsibilities, etc, with a weight for each of these criteria.
“Moreover, it helps improve the work system in the Federal Government by automating evaluation of candidates’ nominated to take up vacancies in the Federal Government, in addition to its many benefits to the ministries and federal entities, in terms of meeting the requirements of Emiratization in those entities and allowing the opportunity to follow up in a timely manner according to plans adopted.”
Shaima Al-Awadhi added that the project is currently operational in all 44 federal bodies implementing "Bayanati" System, stressing that the project greatly enhances capabilities of the federal entities in attracting talent, and increasing employability efficiency through the activation of Job Evaluation & Description System applied at the Federal Government level.
She said: “The mechanism of work of the project requires human resources departments in the ministries and federal bodies to enter data of candidates and requirements for the job electronically in the electronic system of the project through "Bayanati" System, along with the certificates and documents of the candidate, for the system to match the inputs with the requirements and criteria of the specific job and job description, and then determine the most appropriate candidates for each from among those who get 80% or more according to the criteria.”
