Training & Development System for Federal Government Employees
Training in the federal government is one of the means of developing human capital that is relied upon to upskill and train its employees, as training and development in its modern concept is considered an integrated framework and a strategic option in the system and development of human resources that the federal government seeks to achieve.
Therefore, based on the responsibility entrusted to FAHR, as stipulated by Human Resources Legislation in the federal government, FAHR has developed a Training and Development System for federal government employees, based on the latest administrative practices in this field, given its belief in the necessity of providing comprehensive development opportunities for all human cadres working in the federal government for the purposes of achieving goals in accordance with strategic plans with effectiveness in a way that ensures a continuous improvement in performance. The training and development system is linked to the outputs of the Performance Management System, which are considered inputs to this system, in terms of empowering the employee in all behavioral, professional and scientific aspects.
The role of the authority in implementation:
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has prepared the training and development system and has delivered workshops on how the system will be applied and implemented to all federal entities. It is the responsibility of the Authority to provide the necessary support for the success of implementing the system through:
- Holding of educational and acceleration workshops,
- Ensuring that the system is properly implemented through field visits,
- Provide continuous support in the implementation of the system, its different phases and answer all queries.
