How should I use keywords?

Use keywords that are as specific as possible. For example, if you want to search about a page, use the “word page” not “a pages” “and pages” etc…

Refine search results?

If you find that your search has returned too many results you might want to consider refining your search. You can refine your search by adding other keywords to your search or by using the handy keyword tool that can filter your results to make them more accurately reflect the information you are looking for. The filters can be found to the top of your results.

Arab Civil Service & HR Ministers praise UAE model of human capital management

Ministers of Civil Service, Human Resources and Public Administration from several Arab countries expressed their admiration to the experience of the United Arab Emirates in the area of human capital management, development and empowerment, as well as the innovative human resources systems, policies and solutions applied in this field.

This came during a special visit to the United Arab Emirates, during which they learned about the experience of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) and its most innovative projects and initiatives applied to develop government human capital and keep abreast of constantly changing human resources regulations and systems to cope with global trends.

The visiting delegation included HE Sulaiman bin Abdullah Al-Hamdan, Minister of Civil Service, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; HE Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Administrative Reform, Arab Republic of Egypt; HE Mohammed bin Abdul Qader, Kingdom of Morocco; HE Dr. Sadiq Al-Hadi Al-Mahdi, Minister of Human Resources Development, Republic of Sudan; HE Musa Abu Zaid, President of General Personnel Council - Palestinian Authority; HE Dr. Mishbab bin Ayedh Al-Qahtani, Director General of Institute of Public Administration, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and HE Dr. Nasser Al-Qahtani, Director General of Arab Organization for Administrative Development.

Their honourable guests were welcomed by HE Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Director General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources; HE Aisha Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Human Resources Policies Sector, HE Laila Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Programs and HR Planning Sector, Ibrahim Fikry, Executive Director of Support Services Sector, and Klaytham Al Shamsi, Director of Strategy and Future Department.

At the outset of the visit, Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Director General of FAHR, welcomed guests in their second country, stressing that the UAE “has the pleasure to share its successful experiences in the field of government human resources with sister countries for use in the service  of their governments”.

His Excellency emphasized that the UAE, thanks to Allah and the directives of the wise leadership, have taken great steps in terms of caring for the human capital, nurturing talent, building a system of government work in management and developing plans to keep pace with future trends.

“The UAE Federal Government has been working for years to modernize human resources systems, legislation and policies, taking advantage of the best international practices, and keeping pace with the rapid development in all aspects of life. This is done in line with the UAE Vision 2021, the National Agenda and vision of our wise leadership as to achieving global competitiveness and excellence”, HE concluded.

For her part, Klaytham Al Shamsi, Director of Strategy and Future Department, reviewed the most prominent accomplishments of the strategic plan for human resources in the UAE during the three strategic cycles from 2011 to 2017, including projects, programs, systems, initiatives, policies, manuals, as well as follow-up of human resources indicators at the Federal Government level.
