01 October 2024

Driven by its keenness to exchange knowledge on best practices and solutions applied in the field of human resources, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) transferred its outstanding experiences in the field of human capital management, development and empowerment to four government entities (local and regional) during the month of September.

FAHR briefed 4 local and regional entities on its outstanding practices

The Civil Service Bureau in the Kingdom of Bahrain was among those who learnt about the FAHR’s pioneering experiences. The team learned about the best distinguished practices in the field of human capital development, as applied across the UAE government, with a focus on the Human Resources Information Management System in the federal government “Bayanati”, and the strategic planning system for the workforce.

FAHR also received a delegation from the Human Resources Department in the Emirate of Sharjah, and briefed them on the Smart Goals Bank project, which feeds the performance management system for federal government employees. It also transferred knowledge virtually to a team from the Human Resources Department in the Fujairah Government, and explained to them the “Bayanati” system, and the performance management system for federal government employees. A team from the Sharjah Economic Development Department was also briefed on the best human resources practices in the federal government, with regard to job evaluation and description, strategic planning for the workforce, and knowledge management.

The Authority is keen to exchange the best global expertise, practices, and successful experiences in the field of human resources with government and private institutions, in a way that contributes to developing the tools of the work system in the federal government, raising the levels of productivity of ministries and federal entities, and enhancing the attractiveness of the work environment in them, which is something that the visionary leadership of the UAE has always emphasized.

FAHR urges entities and institutions wishing to learn about its best practices and experiences to benefit from the “benchmarking service” by submitting a service request through the Customer Happiness System, available on the FAHR’s website www.fahr.gov.ae, which constitutes an interactive electronic portal that includes all the services provided by FAHR to its customers.
