The UAE Participates in the Arab Administrative Development Organization Executive Council Meeting

The UAE government participated in the 118th regular session of the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO) Executive Council, which was recently held in the Moroccan capital, Rabat. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the most prominent issues and solutions related to the development and advancement of government human capital in the Arab world. The member states exchanged the best experiences, practices and successful experiments in the field of human resources management and empowerment.

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) represented the UAE during the meeting, with a delegation headed by Her Excellency Laila Obaid Al Suwaidi, Director General of FAHR, with the participation of His Excellency Ibrahim Ahmed Fikri, Executive Director of the Support Services Sector at FAHR, and Ahmed Rashid Al Suwaidi, Director of the Director General’s Office.

In her speech, H.E Laila Al Suwaidi stressed the importance of this periodic meeting in meeting the aspirations of Arab governments by enhancing joint Arab action, combining administrative development efforts, empowering human capital, developing government work, enhancing the roles assigned to our institutions, and developing government talents in the countries of the region, in line with the rapid global transformations.

The attendees discussed a number of topics on the agenda, including: following up on the implementation of previous decisions of the Executive Council, discussing the achievements and results of implementing the strategic plan of ARADO, and reviewing the organization’s strategy for digital transformation 2024-2027.
